USDA Announces Certifications and Designations to Provide Official Services Under the U.S. Grain Standards Act

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) announces that the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection are certified to provide official inspection services at export port locations under delegated authority of the United States Grain Standards Act (USGSA).

AMS also announces the following agencies are designated to provide official services at non-export port locations in specified geographic areas:

West Sacramento, Calif.: California Agri Inspection Company Ltd.

Pocatello, Idaho: Idaho Grain Inspection Service Inc.

Evansville, Ind.: Ohio Valley Inspection Inc.

Marshall, Mich.: Michigan Grain Inspection Services Inc.

Lower Northwest Texas Area: Plainview Grain Inspection and Weighing Service Inc. 

Southeast Texas Area: Midsouth Grain Inspection Service.

Richmond, Va.: Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
